Happy 1st Birthday Lydia!

Happy Birthday Lydia! We went over the the Watts house for a impompt birthday get-together so the little ones could play. Seyan and Matt are friends of ours that found out they were pregnant on their 6th month anniversary, right after Matt and I got to seminary. I, being a newlywed, could not believe it and secretly was glad it wasn't us. I am sure the Lord had a great laugh on that day, because 3 months later we found out we were expecting, on our 4 month anniversary. May 21, 2007...we will never forget that day! She didn't quite know what to do....

no driving in, she was a very graceful 1st birthday cake eater.
And Of Course here comes Sadie...

I like it..what do you think?
Is there any cake left?
I just need to get away from these girls.
I love my bunny...
Great Party Mom!

Most if the time those are Matt's study nights so I didn't have much going on, I also get to bring Sadie! She loves playing with all the Big Girl toys. The extra imcome is helping us pay off debt, save money and buy me a new camera!
See mom, I am aBig Girl.

9 Months

Sadie is 9 months today, where did my baby go? She can wave now and say Hi...more like like hiiihah. She eats just amount anything, and you can not eat in front of her unless you plan on giving her some. She will climb up you making a wheezing sound until she gets a bite. She is standing more and more by herself and has taken a few steps....she gives up easily, I think that walking is too tiring to her. She is becoming more interested in books and singing and making animal sounds. She has aways been really easy going but here lately she is aware when you take something away from her or tell her no and she will cry. Pray that she learns to obey and to share. Her favorite places in the house are the fridge, if she hears you open it she will crawl like nobody's business so she can see inside of it, the bathroom...she likes to play peek-a-boo with the shower curtain and then there is the pantry...she has learned how to open the door (just a cabinet door) and she will pull out all the food. She has also gotten her first bruise..not sure how..on her leg and has busted her mouth on her bed.

Some of my favorite moments with her...when she is really tired she will lay her head on my chest and squeeze her arms under her belly. When we play chase and as she crawls as fast as she can away, she will turn and smile really big at me. When she really likes what she is eating and she moves her head from side to side. When she crawls as fast as she can towards freedom (the front door) when she realizes that it is open. And when Matt blows on her stomach and she laughs so cute!!

Rewind 8 years...

I was looking through some old Files and I came across this picture that Leif, Matt's youngest brother, drew for Matt when Matt first left for the Army in 2000. I believe Leif was 11 when he did this and Matt was 18. Who knew that he would enlist and have to go on Tour in Afghanistan! Apparently he did! The more I look at the picture, the more it sort of disturbs me....was this his view of the Army at 11 yrs old....blowing up a house & shooting people in the head? Boys! I bet he never thought that he would actually be holding a gun like that! Enjoy!
On the Back of the picture it has: To: Matt From: Leif Precious!

TGIF

Man, Am I glad that it is Friday! I live for the weekends. However, this week I will be glad if I live through it. I cannot believe that My half Marathon is here! I am pretty nervous because I have ran about twice in the last 3 weeks....egh. My life has been pretty crazy and I peeked way to early. I ran 13 miles about 4 weeks ago so I have not been that motivated to make it to all the trainings. I have a feeling I will really regret it come Sunday Morning. I really wanted to run the best I could with getting to train and all but I have decided not to be too hard on myself for my first go around and just Finish! If you do not see any posts for awhile you will know what happen to be....I locked myself in my house, to embarrassed to show my face because I got kicked off the course due to not making the 6 hours time limit and I didn't get to get my Tiffany's Necklace handed to me my the SF Firefighters...I mean I do not care about that.

That's Right! As we, half marathoners, cross the finish line victoriously, we will be met by the dashing Mill Valley Fire Department (decked out in tuxedos, nonetheless) who will present us with our fabulous finisher’s awards – the Nike Women’s Marathon exclusive Tiffany & Co. finisher necklace!

With A husband as good looking as mine, I might ask if he can had it to me...oh man does he look good in a suit!

Anyways, It all was for a good cause! I raised the $2100!! And Our SF teams have raised $644,989, GREATLY adding to the $18.5 MILLION raised for the Nike Women’s Marathon this year alone!! I have proud of that!

Well here is my course for Sunday.... say a little prayer for me!

Hilarious....apparently my new favorite word

My boss, VP of Business Affairs, came into our office today and said we had a quick training session on customer service. And then he made us watch this video:

Custrmer Service

This is Angela Johnson, Matt and I saw her at Cobb's Comedy Club in San Francisco right before she got a contract with Mad TV and before the big strike. So she is really just getting her start as a comdian. She has made reference to being a christian and is hilarious. When we saw her at Cobb's she did her famous nail bit....oh gosh! Just watch it.

Happy Birthday Maddie

I have to give my wonderful hubby a shout-out for his 27th Birthday and post some hilarious pictures! We are celebrating it over 2 weeks since our schedules do not allow us to do everything we He want to do in one day!
No, he his not the little boy, that is Brad! Yes he is in a dress and looks just like a girl, especially with that hair style!! I cannot wait until Sadie is a little older to see how much they look alike....I am sure Matt will have the prettier hair!
This is Matt at his grandparents house playing with Barbies. He claims that he was really bored but he looks like he is at least 10. Was there not a tree to climb or couch to jump on?

I thought Matt was a pretty boy and this just confirms it! Thanks Sherry forthe pictures, they are great!!

Yosemite from a spectator....

Matt's Brother, Brad, AKA Bailey and Emilee's Dad , came to visit for Matt's Bday last weekend. They took a Manly, bros trip to Yosemite. I believe that they had a good time...I got bits a peices of different stories. They are very competitive, imagine that! Brad wins the award this time becuase he made it the furthest up half Dome. you see that line of Black, I thought it was just the rope they had to climb...but no those are people climbing...one right behind each other. Crazy to me!
Even though Brad won, I was informed that he got them lost several times. :)Anyways, it looks beautiful from the pictures...perfect day. Thanks for the pictures Brad.

I am not sure about all the thumbs ups......
I on the other hand, I had all weekend to myself..well, two small exceptions: Sadie amd a stomach virus. Luckily, I recovered Friday afternoon from the stomach virus and after being in the house all day, I had to leave. With no car, I was forced to walk everywhere...it was kind of nice..don't tell. So Sadie and I walk to Starbucks and read/hung out for a while and then walked back to campus for Family Worship Night. Doug and Reann played and sang for us...it was great. I never knew Reann could play the drums or whatever that was she was playing. Then on Sat I met up with Liz and we went to a Rich, Tennis Pros vs Celebrity at a country club. We go tickets because Golden Gate let them use their parking lot! Above: some famous Tennis Players and B list Celebs Below:Martina Hingis & mary joe Fernadez

Then Sat night I hung out with Shannon and Carsyn so cute! Well I am not sure why I felt lead to tell you all about my weekend.....Peace!

no more summer time....

I just returned from my brisk walk outside...I had to drag myself back to work. Fall is here and I just love the sound of the leaves crunching under your shoes, the changing colors in the trees amd the small of a cold breeze....

Fall is both mine and Matt's favorite season. Maybe we can find time to enjoy it this weekend.

Does this mean I need to change my blog title?
