Prayer Request

She is Okay but this morning my younger sister, Alex (17), was in a car accident. She was on her way to school and took a curve too fast especially under the slippery condition. She lost control adn then over corrected. She was thrown from the car after hitting a tree. Fortunately, only compound fractures on her vertebrate have been discovered at this point. They are keeping her overnight to observe her vitals. Praise the Lord she was not injured anymore, it could have been a lot worse since she wasn't wearing a seat belt. (And please wear your seat belts!) She is mainly overwhelmed with everything and upset that they had to cut her pants. (teenagers!) It was actually Matt's mom, Sherry, who is a EMT, who was on the ambulance call so I think that calmed her down some and comforted her.

Please pray for her healing, ability not to get behind with school so she may graduate in May and for the financial situation it has now put her and my mom in. My mom is single and Alex has been working to help pay for her needs, I am assuming that she will be out of work for awhile. I do not know how the insurance will play our since the Truck was totalled, nor anything about the health insurance at this time. It was their only vehicle so please pray that things will be worked out quickly, so my mom has transportation to and from work.

We're praying for your mom and sister. If there's anything we can do from Houston, please let us know. I can't imagine how difficult this situation must be for your family but praise God she is okay!

We will pray for your sister. Please tell Emily to wear her seatbelt when you see her.

Grace is our only Hope

Augustine: For grace is given not because we have done good works, but in order that we may be able to do them.
