Brazos Bend State Park
Brazos Bend State Park is just a 30min drive from our house and is one of my
My favorite places to go.....i love the spanish moss covered oak trees. There's miles of trails and lakes AND Alligators! They aren't too dangerous enless you provoke them but we brought the dog just in case! Unfortunately, the park guys said the big alligators tend to stay cool and not come too close during the hot days but we did see several smaller ones.
Learning about baby aligators.....its the temperature of the eggs that determines the sex!
I stay far away from any aligators....
The guys were more afraid of the harmless but large bananas spiders. Jean Philippe made me take a picture.
Austin
